i have got to tell you that we have moved from learnerblogs to edublogs i hope to see you there.

In our class we are doing a topic on WW2. we have learnt alot and it has been quite fun. we went on a trip to Calender House and we got evacuated. We had to put on ichy clothes and then went to a table and got an identity card. then we went to the next table and got a ration book, post card and a lable for our luggage. when we got back it was lunch time and we were all starving. we got to go first for lunch then we went outside to play.

We are in groups that are to do with WW2. there are lots of them like the clothes group ( that is the group that i am in ) , rationing group, evacuation group and ect. it is really fun in the groups. we get to make posters to say what we are talking about and we some people in the group or everybody in the group has to talk about a part of what they are doing.

I just love to draw pictures , it’s really fun. I am quite good at drawing. Last night i drew Eyore , i tried to draw Winnie the pooh and piglet but that didn’t work out , i drew pluto , donald duck and daffy duck. I stuck some of my pictures on the wall in my bed room but i couldn’t put all of them up because i ran out of blue tack.

The weather has been really bad. all it has done is rained and thats bad. i wish it could be sunny and there would be no rain just the bright sun. BUT i dont think that will happen because it is the winter. i still do wish that it would turn warm because at school since it has been raining we have had to stay in side. sometimes it can be fun and sometimes its just not fun. Everytime we go out side i just starts to rain again ( booooooo ).

anyway my birthday is coming up soon and i am getting a nintendo wii. i love nintendo wii’s they are just sooooooo much fun. i would want to play it all the time but if i do that i will probably get bored lol. I dont really no what i want for my birthday it will just be a surprize ( YEAH ). i think i am getting money from most people but it will make me rich lol. I have just got my first birthday card from my Auntie Isobel but i hope that i will get lots more. I am going to have a party with my family and i hope that it will be fun.

i just love reading books i dont know how i just love it. I love to write stories and read stories. when i am older i want to become a writer and write lots of things ( but i dont know yet what i am going to write hehe.I love scary books , sad books , adventure books and etc. I dont read the news paper because i find it boring and i just dont like to read it but every thing else is fun to read. maybe you should try to rite your own book and i will to. i will come back to you when i have wrote atleast 4 pages hehe.

My 3rd fave book is one of Anne Fines books called  it is quite a good book you should read it.

My 2nd fave book is one of jaqueline wilsons books called  it is good but i haven’t read it all yet.

But my fave book has to be one of jaqueline wilsons book called  it is a great book and i just love it. once at school we were to draw one of our favourite books and i chose to draw Bad Girls it was a quite good drawing and i really liked it. i hope youcan read some of the books that i told you about.

 In art we have been drawing pictures, like The Shore, Australian animals, and etc. For a couple of weeks we have been drawing the tsunami. We have just finished drawing and painting our pictures and they look great!!!! It was quite hard drawing the tsunami because you had to draw the wave and it’s lines, the spots, the boats, the people that were in the boat but we managed in the end. Next week we are going to draw things and people from world war 2.  We all hope that it will be fun. By Ainsley M and Rebecca H

        

It is  coming up to christmas and i am getting excited. I just love it when it comes to christmas because you get lots of presents and sweeties. I can hardly get to sleep on christmas eve because i am so excited. When it is christmas day i get up early and run down stairs to see what i have got. This year i want some Nintendo DS games like cooking mama, diddy kong racing and lots more. I want some playstation games like Dogs Life and plenty more.I think that i am going to my grandma and papas house for dinner.I have turkey, and chips and some bits of bread.My sister has kicken dippers and chips and my mum and dad has turkey or steak pie , chips or potato and some carrots and peas.

We have been reading a book about Pinocchio.It was very good but the book had 36 chapters and it didn’t take long to read.We were told to write a book review so here it is.

        There is an old man called Geppetto and he gets a bit of wood from a friend. He starts to hear a voice and doesn’t know where it is coming from. So he goes to visit an old friend and asks him to make him a puppet but they start to have a fight and when they had finished fighting they had each others wigs in their hands. so Geppetto goes back to his home and makes the puppet himself. After he had finished carving the puppet he heard the same voice, then he new that it was the puppet speaking so he named the puppet Pinocchio. He let Pinocchio go to school so he sold his coat just to get Pinocchio an ABC book. one day when Pinocchio was on his way to school he heard sounds he had never heard before, so he decided to follow the sounds instead of going to school. It took him to a puppet show, it was four coins to get in but Pinocchio had nothing, so he went and gave a boy his ABC book and got four coins in exchange. Then suddenly he got pulled into the puppet show. all the other puppets new that Pinocchio was there brother, and where very happy to see him. Fireater was the man in charge of the puppet show. He wanted to burn Pinocchio so he could make his dinner which was lamb. then fireater sneezed and that meant he felt sorry for him,they started to got on very well, so fireater gave Pinocchio five gold coins to give to his father. Pinocchio was on his way home when he met the fox and the cat, Pinocchio began to like them and formed a good friendship with the cat and fox. The fox and the cat tolled Pinocchio that if he buried his five gold coins in the field of wonders, then put a drop of water on top, then leave it for one night they could turn into 5000 coins. Pinocchio went home to his father, and on the way home he went and bought another ABC book and a coat for his father. the next morning Pinocchio left for school but met the fox and the cat again, he did not go to school that day because he went with the fox and the cat. They took him to the fields of wonders, so he bent down and dug a hole in the ground and planted the five coins, then sprinkled some water over them. Then he started to talk to the fox and the cat, Pinocchio did not arrive home that night or the next because he was with the fox and the cat. one day Pinocchio was on his way home when he saw everyone going to the beach. Pinocchio forced his way through the crowed to see what was going on, then he saw his father Geppetto building a boat so he could sail across the sea looking for Pinocchio.He set of to try and find Pinocchio,but Pinocchio was to late to tell his father that he was safe and well, so he ran as fast as he could to the top of the hill to get his fathers attention but his father did not see him. Then a huge wave came and Geppetto was nowhere to be seen. Pinocchio started to think what had happened to his poor father, so he started to look across the sea but still couldn’t see anything. Pinocchio decided to start a search for his father, so he ran into the sea and started to swim until he saw an island and decided to go over and check it out. Once Pinocchio had reach the island he asked a dolphin if it had seen his father but the dolphin said “no, he hadn’t saw his father anywhere.” The dolphin said that their is a big shark in the water and it may have killed his father. Pinocchio walked away to search the island, and saw a village filled with houses and people. Since he was starving he asked the people for a piece of bread but the tasks were to hard and Pinocchio didn’t have the strength to carry anything for them. Pinocchio asked one little lady if he could have a drink of water from her pale but she wanted Pinocchio to carry her pale of water back to her home. Since Pinocchio was really thirsty, he carried it to her house but when he got there he noticed that it looked exactly like the fairy that he calls his mother. Pinocchio was glad to see her because he thought that she was dead. Pinocchio started to live with her , go to school and try not to disappoint her ever again. One day Pinocchio was given out invitations to a party where he was going to turn into a real boy but when he was out trying to give his invitation to lamb-wick. Lamb-wick asked Pinocchio if he would come to the land of toys with him.Pinocchio went with Lamb-wick, he was there for five months and the next day he started to turn into a donkey,but so did Lamb-wick. They where took to a market to be sold, they were both bought buy two different men. Lamb-wick went with a farmer and Pinocchio was bought by a man who wanted Pinocchio’s skin. After Pinocchio was bought the man took him to the sea, tied his legs together and through him into the sea. Pinocchio was on his way down to the bottom when a school of fish came and started to eat Pinocchio’s skin. When the man pulled him back up Pinocchio was a puppet again because all the fish had ate  his skin so his bones would be made of wood. The man let Pinocchio go, so he swam back into the sea but then the shark swallowed him. He landed i the sharks stomach where he found his father alive, they both found their way out and got back home.Pinocchio gave the fairy five coins since she was ill in the hospital, so when the fairy had got better she gave Pinocchio 500 gold coins in return. And they all lived happily ever after.

Hi i’m going to tell you about my holiday in Tenerife(Where do i start). On a friday morning i got up and went to the airport . We went through the check in and then we went to get something to eat. After we had eat we waited a while then we were bording for our flight. When we got on the plane and everyone else was seated the flight took off. We were in the air for 4 and a half hours it was quite relaxing and tiring. When we had landed it was 9:00 at night. We had landed before the bus was even here to pick everyone up. When the bus arrived we all got on and then we were starting to drop people off at there hotel we were dropped off last. We were staying at the hotel Catalon Oro Negro our room was very nice. It had 2 rooms, 2 bathrooms and two beds in every room. We went to Aquland that is the big water park it was really fun. We went on a boat that was called Freebird1 and got to see whales. We went to Loro Park and watched every show. We watched the whale twice and the first time we were in the splash zone (we got soaked). The second time we sat in the middle were you wouldn’t get soaked so we tane pictures. Here are some pics of Loro Park
